The Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ) helicopter, scheduled to transport President Emmerson Mnangagwa to Harare from Bikita, crashed yesterday, during takeoff at Masvingo Airport.
The incident, which occurred under unclear circumstances, has prompted an ongoing investigation by AFZ officials.
No casualties were reported from the crash. However, causes of the accident remain unknown.
