The Newshawks reports that Ministry of Finance permanent secretary George Guvamatanga has purchased multiple upmarket residential properties in South raising questions for his source of money.
Guvamatanga properties in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban suburbs as an individual, through co-ownership and via fronting.
In Johannesburg Guvamatanga has 12 houses, mostly in Dainfern Golf Estate and surrounding places, Fourways, Randburg and Sandton wealthy suburbs, two of which are registered in relatives’ names.
The prices of the properties range from R720 000 to R6.3 million each.
