South African based politician Saviour Kasukuwere has condemned the arrest, torture and harrasment of 80 CCC activist.
This comes after armed riot police stormed Jameson Timba’s Avondale residence and arrested 80 youths for gathering in commemoration of International Youth Day on Sunday.
Taking to X, Kasukuwere said: “Hatred,brutality and cruelty defines us today! Shame on you! Is this really necessary to treat fellow countrymen like this? Aiwa Vakomana Handizvo”
The group is set to appear before Harare Magistrates Court, facing public order offences over the private event.
