Zimbabweans have taken to social media to share birthday messages for the Sungura legend Alick Macheso as he turns 56th.
Macheso who rose to fame during his days with Nicholas Zakaria and Khiama Boys band is considered one of the greatest musicians in Zimbabwe.
Taking to Facebook, Macheso said only God has made it possible for him to reach such a milestone.
“Mashoko angandikurira, ndibatsirei kutenda Musiki nekusvika kwataita nhasi, Makore Makumi mashanu nenhanhatu. Rudo nerutsigiro zvenyu ndizvo zvinoita tinzwe kuda kuramba tichienda Mberikwazvo”, he wrote.
