IOL reports that two Zimbabwe men have been arrested at Beitbridge Border Post for muggling explosives into South Africa.

The suspects aged 32 and 42 attempted to smuggle 24 blasting cartridges and 109 safety fuses for commercial explosives

The duo was arrested after their Toyota Quantum with a trailer was stopped, and upon searching it, police discovered commercial explosives concealed inside bags.

The two suspects are expected to appear before the Musina Magistrate’s Court, today, facing charges of smuggling and possession of explosives.
