Former Citizens Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa has addressed a press conference for the first since quitting his party.

Addressing the press, Chamisa insisted that he was overwhelmingly voted by Zimbabweans in the 2023 presidential election and says there is still need for SADC intervention.

He vowed not to repeat 2023 or 2018 in 2028 , the only way forward being to arrive at a clear resolution on the last plebiscite.

He said: “No elections in 2028 without taking a balance sheet of the skirmish, bogus and fraudulent elections undertaken over the past two electoral periods.”
