Former Citizens Coalition for Change legislature Fadzayi Mahere is celebrating advocate Thabani Mpofu’s birthday today.
Taking to X, Mahere shared a rare photo of herself with Mpofu while still at the University of Zimbabwe.
She said: “Happiest birthday to a friend and colleague @adv_fulcrum ! We’ve come a looooong way from silently competing in @ProfMadhuku’s class”
Mpofu is a prominent commercial, constitutional, human rights, and political litigation lawyer as well as advocate of the High Court, Supreme Court of Zimbabwe and Constitutional Court of Zimbabwe.
Mahere revealed that Mpofu paid her fine when she was convicted, “Thank you for paying my fine when I was convicted. Wishing you many more prosperous years!”.
