ZANU PF has appointed Edson Chiherenge as the substantive Chairman for Midlands Province and Lewis Matutu as the Vice Chairman.
Matutu’s election has been welcomed as a sign that the party is committed to representing the interests and voices of youths in the decision-making process.
Matutu was former Zanu-PF’s deputy secretary for Youth. He was suspended from his position as in 2020 during a politburo meeting on allegations of indiscipline.
