A United Kingdom based Zimbabwean socialite Shelter Macbolan died in a car accident a few days after celebrating her 35th birthday in Zanzibar.
Macbolan died with her two friends in a car accident in Zanzibar. The socialite had travelled to the island last week to celebrate her birthday.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear.
Shelter was a mother of one. She worked as a registered nurse and has been doing modelling since she was 14years old.
