President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sparked debate on social media after referring to the late Namibian President Hage Geingob as his young brother.

Mnangagwa is among the African Heads of State at the Heroes Acre in Windhoek for the burial of Dr Hage Geingob .

Speaking during the funeral, Mnangagwa 81, said Geingob was his little brother and was helpful in fighting for the lifting of sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.

Hage Geingob died at the age of 82 a year older than the country’s leader ED Mnangagwa.
