He paid tribute to maMguni for raising him to be the strong man he turned out to be.
“My grandmother Eta Masamanisi Mkwananzi nee Mguni who became my mother has gone. She was 101 years old. I would not have been anywhere near what I am if she and her late husband, Shadreck Magama Mkwananzi had not sold cows and goats, tilled the fields to take me to school to give me a fighting chance in this cold world. Please join me in celebrating a life well lived and a God sent Angel to extricate me from poverty and obscurity deep down in rural Zhombe.
