Nelson Chamisa’s Citizen Coalition for Change is facing a new hurdle after Sengezo Tshabangu threatened legal action against the opposition party.

This comes as both Tshabangu and Chamisa filed nomination for CCC candidates yesterday, ahead of the December 9 By-elections.

Speaking to Newsday, Tshabangu’s spokeperson Khaliphani Phugeni said legal action will be taken against Chamisa for filing double candidates.

He said Chamisa has acted against the High Court ruling which upheld Sengezo’s recalls.

The High Court issued a judgment on Saturday dismissing the application filed by 14 MPs and nine senators seeking to regain their positions within the parliament.
