In a recent tweet, prominent opposition Zimbabwean politician Fadzayi Mahere,  raised eyebrows by questioning the inclusion of men in the government initiative “Young Women 4ED.”

The initiative aims to empower young women in leadership roles.

Mahere directed her tweet at the Minister of ICTS, Tatenda  Mavetera, expressing concern over the unexpected involvement of men in a program designed specifically for women.

“So are men now part of ‘Young Women 4ED’? We need new leaders,” she stated, highlighting the need for genuine female representation in leadership positions.
