Professor Gift Mugano has been fired from the Zimbabwe Trade Board.
Ambassador J. Manzou, the Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade issued a letter informing Mugano that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade has terminated his membership from the Zim Trade Board.
This is in terms of Article 10 of the Constitution of ZIM Trade as read with section 16 of the Public Entities and Corporate Gorvenance Act [Chapter 10:31].
It was stated that the termination is with immediate effect.
However, Mugano said this is part of the strategies of GOZ aimed at silencing alternative voices.
Hence it will not work on him since Zimbabwe is for everyone and his views matters.
