Highlanders Football Club has issued a statement against violence that took place at Barbourfields stadium yesterday.
The incident happened during a match between Highlanders (Bosso) and Dynamos (Dembare) Football clubs.
When Dembare hit Bosso 2- 0 before the match ended, Bosso supporters started interfering the match, entering at the ground harrasing Dembare players.
Police arrived and were also fired by stones.
However, Highlanders Executive has issued a statement saying they are deeply saddened by the crowd trouble that led to the abandonment of the match on Sunday.
They added that the club Condemns the unsporting behavior and they apologized to all sponsors, partners and stakeholders affected by the act of selfish individuals.
The executive pleads that they find a solution to this Vice that continuouslybbrings the name of the game into disrepute.
