Kasukuwere holds first Presidential Campaign in SA

Self exiled former cabinet minister Saviour Kasukuwere held his first presidential campaign today in Johanesburg.

Speaking to SABC News reporter, Kasukuwere said he took the political decision to fight the the challenges that have arisen within the ruling party Zanu PF from 2017.

He said he will stand as an independent candidate as a way of bringing an end to the division and polarisation in the country.

Speaking on the economic hardship in Zimbabwe, Saviour said the country has to be run on very clear long term and sustainable policies.

He also said the corrupt cabal running the country should be removed.

“We need to allow investors to come into our country that can only be done when people know that their investments are secure,” he said.

Kasukuwere emphasized on the issue of a new political culture aimed at uniting political parties. He cited that Government of National Unit will help Zimbabwe make a lot of progress.
