Opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa consoled the Dabengwa and Khumalo families following the death of Zodwa yesterday.
Late national hero Dumiso Dabengwa’s widow died after a long battle with cancer.
Writing on social media, Chamisa said Zodwa will be missed by many as she was a source of encouragement and a pillar of strength.
“Rest in Peace my sweet mother, Mama Zodwa Dabengwa. A decent character, a true heroine, a caring mother…She touched lives and will be missed by many!
“My condolences to the Dabengwa and Khumalo families! May God comfort us all during this difficult time. Lala ngokuthula Qhawekazi,” he said.
