The South African National Prosecution Authority (NPA), has denied that assassinated Zimbabwean woman, Christine Yolanda Gumira was a witness in a murder trial.
Western Cape Director of Public Prosecution, Nicollet Bell, told the Daily Sun Newspaper that Yolanda was not a witness but an accused person who appeared in a murder trial.
Three suspects aged between 24 and 33 who were linked to the case through CCTV appeared in the Wynberg Magistrate ‘s court yesterday , the same building where Yolanda was gunned down while leaving.
Police have refused to name the suspects.
