Bulawayo Mayor, Councillor Solomon Mguni, has mourned the passing of Knowledge Khupe, a CITE employee who died on Wednesday.
Khupe, 27, a videographer and photographer at CITE, had been hospitalised after a short illness.
In a statement, Mguni said Khupe’s death is a loss to the media industry.
“The city mourns the loss of such a young life and our greatest sympathy goes to the Khupe family, friends and colleagues.”
Knowledge had been working with the city of Bulawayo as a videographer for the live streaming of the full council meetings.
