Former opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai’s widow Elizabeth has denied accusing Nelson Chamisa of poisoning her late husband.

This comes after a Twitter account with Elizabeth’s user name said she is still grieving the death of her husband who was poisoned by Chamisa.

Tsvangirai died aged 65 in 2018 after battling with colon cancer for at least two years.

Writing on Instagram, Elizabeth distance herself from the Tweet citing that she does not own a Twitter account.

Elizabeth said the tweet is harmful to her family adding that is also tarnishes her image.

She urged people to stop spreading false information be shared on the Twitter account Elizabeth Tsvangirai
