War veteran and former Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe CEO Ambassador Thomas Mandigora has died.

The former Ambassador to Botswana passed away at his home in Gletwyn, on Saturday afternoon from the stroke he suffered last month.

His youngest daughter Rufaro said the gap left by Mandigora is irreplaceable adding that he was her pillar of strength.

Mandigora served as Ambassador to Botswana for 12 years, working to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Zimbabwe and Botswana.

He held a Masters in Business Administration degree and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration.
