Prominent Zimbabwean cricketer and Chevrons captain Heath Streak has fallen seriously ill.

Former education, sports and culture minister David Coltart took to social media to announce that Streak is extremely ill.

He called to all prayer warriors in the country and beyond to help pray for one of the greatest cricketers Zimbabwe has ever produced.

“Please could we all be in prayer for him and his family”, wrote Coltart.

Streak was the first Zimbabwean to reach 100 Test wickets and is regarded as one of the greatest cricketers. He has had an eventful life on and off the pitch.
