42 Zimbabweans evacuated from Sudan have arrived in the country, making Zimbabwe one of the first African countries to evacuate its citizens.
The civilians and embassy staff returned aboard an Emirates flight.
Another flight is expected to bring at least 21 more stranded citizens back.
The army and a paramilitary group are presently engaged in serious fighting in and around the capital Khartoum.
