Zimbabwe is set to celebrate 43 years of independence for the first time in Mount Darwin District, Mashonaland Central.

Addressing the media, Dr. James Makamba said preparations for the event are now at an advance stage.

The Uhuru Day celebrations will be held on April 18.

This year’s theme is: “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo/Ilizwe Lakhiwa Ngabanikazi Balo”, which resonates with President Mnangagwa’s vision 2030.
