Thabo Bester allegedly used a black Mercedes Benz S63 AMG to cross at the Beitbridge border post in what ie believed to have been part of a failed escape plan.
The Benz, was purchased by Bester’s girlfriend Dr Nandipha Magudumana and was found abandoned in Zimbabwe in August 2022.
The car remains clamped in Beitbridge with a security guard stationed nearby to safeguard the car.
