Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono says the opposition is now dead as a ‘dodo’.

This comes after Team Pachedu revealed that President Emmerson Mnangagwa is selling land to investors in the country.

Chin’ono said the opposition has failed to bring Mnangagwa and ZANU PF to book.

In 2018, Mnangagwa is said to have sold out 54,650 Hectares of land to Belarus “investors” for gold mining in Manicaland and Mashonaland East.

This is equivalent to 546.5 km² of land, slightly greater than the size of Bulawayo (545.8 km²).

Their gold mining company was registered in Zimbabwe as Zim Goldfields in April 2018 with the “investors” owning 70% shares under a UK shell company, Midlands Goldfields, which was formed in December 2017, a month after the coup.
