Zimbabwean human rights lawyer Arnold Tsunga has stepped down as Chairperson of Southern Africa Human Rights Defenders Network.
Tsunga was replaced by Adriano Nuvunga at a meeting held inJohannesburg, South Africa yesterday.
He had served as the founding Chairperson since 2018. Tsunga worked closely with the international human rights community to provide extensive documentation of human rights abuses in Zimbabwe.
