The British Medical Association has announced that junior doctors will take part in a 72 hour strike from 7am on Monday 13 March to 7am on Thursday 16 March.

“If there are changes to an appointment you have on one of the strike days, we will be in touch with you beforehand to re-schedule. However, if you do not hear from us, please attend your appointment as usual.

In the event that industrial action is called off before next Monday, we will make every effort to reinstate any appointments that have been cancelled as quickly as possible.

The safety of our service users is always our top priority and we have plans in place to ensure that there is minimal impact on the quality and the timeliness of the care you, your relative or someone you care for, receives.

We hope that the industrial dispute is resolved as soon as possible, but apologise in the meantime for any disruption it may cause”.
