Gamu Maphosa has accused Prophet James Chitakale who is now based in the United Kingdom of raping her during the time she stayed with him when he was still in Manicaland, Zimbabwe.
At that time she was staying with him because she was looking after his two children. She started seeing him as a father figure not knowing that he was planning to sleep with her.
She narrated how he forced himself on her at first and then continued to sleep with her until she became pregnant. He then took her to a nurse who performed a backyard abortion against Gamu’s will.
All this happened while James Chitakale’s wife was in UK. It is said there are two other girls that he possibly raped.
Gamu has now reported the case to the police but the church members are defending their pastor by all means necessary.
