After a landmark victory in the courts, Wicknell Chivhayo has said he is not concerned with receiving damages from ZESA when the country is going through serious load shedding.
The Intratrek boss has promised to fast-track and complete the $USD175 million Gwanda solar project that had been paused following the legal battle between Intratrek and ZPC.
After winning the court case Chivhayo said “We receive the High Court judgement as highly reccomendable as it is vindication of the position that we have always advanced, particularly that the EPC Contract was unlawful terminated by ZPC”, he said.
He said his company is willing to implement the project within the shortest possible time and that he can deliver 200 MW within 2 years.
