Exiled Former Botswana President, Ian Khama, says he will campaign vigorously using his influence as a former Head of State to remove current President, Mokgweetsi Masisi.

Khama said Masisi is a dictator and is bad for Botswana.

Khama gave a long account of how he fell out with Masisi, explaining that his harassment began when he left the ruling party to join the opposition, which beat Masisi in their stronghold.

Speaking in an interview with SABC ‘Sophie Mokoena, Khama said Masisi has been challenged by the United Nations over the harassment.

Khama said Masisi has previously accused him of having illegal weapons, which were not found.

The Masisi government has since issued a warrant of arrest for Khama, who is living in Exile in South Africa.

Khama also said Masisi has accused him of stealing USD10 billion, an accusation that was found to be fabricated by a local court.
