President of the Zimbabwean Republic Emmerson Mnangagwa has called upon peace ahead of the upcoming 2023 elections.
“Political players seeking the people’s mandate during the upcoming 2023 general elections must maintain and consolidate the current peace , unity and love that we have built “, said Mnangagwa.
The president said this over the opening of the fifth session of the ninth parliament of Zimbabwe.
Mnagagwa added that they also call upon the removal of sanctions which have constrained social and economic growth for decades.
