A nine year old Tsholotsho girl who was reportedly pregnant gave birth to a baby girl today.
Reports say that Dr Ellen Takawira Hondonga confirmed the birth. Hondonga said the mother and the baby are fine.
The father of the minor who is suspected to be responsible for the child’s pregnancy has remained in custody since 29 August when he was arrested.
