Around 300 families in Chegutu are facing eviction by Chinese mining project linked to retired Generals to pave a way for proposed platinum project, Daily mirror News reported.

The Chinese Fi is reportedly working with a local company linked to the country’s millitary.

The Chinese investors have reportedly started surveying, mapping and pegging the area without formally communicating with the community.

Villages said corrupt and powerful retired Generals are using political connections as they were given a go ahead by two government officials to push through the evictions.
