Zimbabwe Republic Police have arrested three people in connection with armed robbery case which occurred on the fourth of October 2022 along Bulawayo HowMine road.
The suspects, Antony Moyo(39), Wilson Mutandwa (24), and Ernest Mutandwa (30) where they stole 11.6kgs of gold on transit from HowMine to Bulawayo and four firearms.
On 4 October 2022 the police received information that some of the stolen items were abandoned at a house under construction at West Summerton, Bulawayo.
The detectives recovered car keys, 3×9 MMM spent cartridges, a black glove, a 303 rifle loaded with eight live rounds and three empty metal boxes.
