Phineas Ngarava a retired Harare lawyer was charged 18 months in jail for embezzling US$13 500 trust funds and breaching an agreement with a client.
Ngarava was charged with 18 months in jail but will serve 10 months after Harare magistrate Nyash Vhitorini suspended eight months on condition of good behaviour.
Ngarava who was convicted denied the allegations.
