Loadshedding in Zimbabwe has caused water supply challenges in Karoi, Newsday reported.

Major cities ,towns and municipalities face 18 hours without electricity daily affecting the pumping of clean water to households.

This has forced citizens to resort to unclean sources of water exposing them to waterborne diseases.

Zimbabwean National Organisation of Association and Residents Trusts chairperson, Liberty Chitiya said the water crisis is now a major problem in major cities and towns including Karoi.
