A Bogus lawyer Isaac Muguti who took US$15 000 after pretending he was legally representing the landowner of stands in Mabvazuva suburb where he was arrested.
Muguti appeared in court before magistrate Dennis Muguti on Friday and remained in custody to today for his bail application.
Between May and September this year Toddy Muchongwe was represented Muguti that he was a lawyer of Exodus and Company to facilitate the sale of residential stands in Mabvazuva.
According to Daily mirror Muguti made representation knowing that he was not a lawyer and had not been authorised by Exodus and Company to do any business on its behalf and paid $US15 800.
