United Kingdom based journalist Simba Chikanza has revealed why he is exposing Hopewell Chin’ono’s fraud now.
Chikanza said he has been exposing Chin’ono from day one when he began controlling the MDC A information department through Fadzayi Mahere.
He said he is in possession of evidence that “Hopewell Chin’ono is a fraudster, and have engaged him over video content implicating him as a rapist.”

ANSWER: It’s not true that I’ve been quiet. I exposed Hopewell Chin’ono from day one when he began controlling the opposition MDCA information department which was formed the day Fadzayi Mahere was made Spokesperson in May 2020. I even recorded videos that month illustrating that Hopewell’s plot was all mere infiltration by CIO agents. I have been consistent over this and even informed numerous CCC leaders about it on video and in writing. The copies are there many even in the public domain.
1. I do have evidence that Hopewell Chin’ono is a fraudster, and I have engaged him over video content implicating him as a rapist.
2. This exposure is simply an explanation so vital to our service users who are INQUIRING why we have gone slow in answering their phone calls and following up their stories efficiently like we did on previous times. We are getting overwhelmed by requests driven directly by Mr Hopewell Chin’ono’s self serving lies about his own colleagues, which communications also endanger the latter’s lives.
3. Had Hopewell Chin’ono apologised on 30 August 2022, the exposure which began way back in 2020, was and is still going ahead. It’s 2 years old and continues to run until everything is out for the masses to see.

4. I wish to achieve the purpose of educating Zimbabweans about what’s endangering their news service, and their wellbeing as a whole. People are going to be killed in the following months and elections going to be stolen with Chin’ono ‘s help. This is no joke and my role since 2007 is to alert the masses of what’s coming so it can be stopped and disasters averted.
5. Are you not aware Constantino Chiwenga, the same man I exposed when 6 people were shot dead on 1 Aug 2018 and women raped TO CHANGE ELECTION RESULTS, secretly meets Hopewell Chin’ono? Hopewell himself has talked about it.
Furthermore have you not seen it that Hopewell meets Auxillia and ED privately? Have you not seen Priscilla Chigumba chilling at Hopewell’s swimming pool? Are those normal pictures?
