Nursingnotes reveals that the number of unfilled nurse jobs has jumped by over 8,000 in just a year.

The number of unfilled nursing jobs in England has jumped by a massive 21% in just a year.

This is a rise of 21% since April-June 2021, when the vacancy total was 38,814. In stark contrast, in 2011, the vacancy rate was less than 10,000.

The increase in unfilled nurse vacancies has been linked to reduction in pay.
