WATCH LIVE as Gambakwe Media looks at the election petition filed by losing Kenyan Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, who is challenging the declaration of Raila Odinga as the President by the Independent Electroral and Boundaries Commission (IECB).

Odinga’s lawyers argued that:

1. The election was not free and fair.
2. The electoral commission is dysfunctional.
3. There are two factions in the commission.
4. Ruto did not attain 50% plus one of all the votes cast.
5. Chebukati reported inconsistent voter turnout figures.
6. The total turnout and total results for all candidates, are not the same. The number is indeterminate and is a moving target. The number of voters that turned out remains indeterminate.
7. The number 50% plus one was therefore based on a wrong figure.
8. An statistic expert said the total voter turnout after 4pm was 56% and at the close of voting, the turnout was now 65.4%.
9. There was a deduction of votes from Odinga and these same votes were added to Ruto, meaning the total number of votes remained the same.
10. The results were manipulated to favour Ruto.
