Kenyan presidential candidate Raila Odinga has declared the results of the election as null and void.

Addressing the media for the first time after the election, Ralia promised to challenge them in court.

According to the official results announced on Monday, Ralia Odinga narrowly lost to Deputy President William Ruto.

Odinga accused the head of the electoral body of a “blatant disregard of the constitution”.

The dramatic series of events has raised fears of violence similar to that of 2007 disputed polls which led to the death of more than 1,200 people
