United Kingdom based businesswoman and philanthropist Olinda Chapel has cancelled this year’s Royal High Tea event.
The event was suppossed to be held at the Grand Hotel in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Writing on Facebook, Olinda said: “I have decided to cancel the High Tea. It’s not worth it. Zimbabwe is the only community that feeds off hate all the time. Itai mega !”
Olinda’s ex husband Stunner was slated to perfom at the event together with her current husband Tytan Nkomo.
This sparked huge debate on social media with many people attacking Olinda for disrespecting her husband.
The Olinda Chapel Foundation Royal High Tea is a business networking event which aims at sharing developmental skills through speeches by Zimbabwean business figures from across the world.
