United States Tennis legend Serena Williams announced her retirement in a post on social media, yesterday.
The superstar said the main reason she is taking the decision to retire is that she wants to focus on her family.
Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, have a five-year-old daughter, Olympia and it seems like they are planning on growing their family.
Serena hinted that she will retire after the U.S. Open, which will run from late August into September.
