President Emmerson Mnangagwa will today preside over the burial of the late Brigadier General (Rtd) Benjamin Mabenge at the Heroes Acre.
Brig-Gen (Rtd) Mabenge passed away after a long illness at Arundel Hospital, Harare, on 1 August.
His body was taken to his Kwekwe farm on Tuesday ahead of burial in Harare today.
Mnangagwa went to pay his condolences to the Mabenge family in Harare last night.
He met Mabenge’s widow, Rosegema in Belvedere, accompanied by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, Ministers Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri and Kazembe Kazembe.
