Confusion has broken out in the Citizen Coalition for Change (CCC) over the naming of the shadow Cabinet by Nelson Chamisa this week.
While party leader Nelson Chamisa denied naming a shadow cabinet, stating that the appointments were merely for parliamentary spokespersons, those who were excluded are protesting loudly.
In line with the Westminister system, President Chamisa appointed a shadow cabinet. The rest being said is nonsense.
Binga MP, Prince Dubeko Sibanda furiously tweeted: “Ladies & gentlemen, President Nelson Chamisa has appointed the shadow cabinet. It will no longer be business as usual.”
Meanwhile, critics have pointed out that Chamisa was pressured to announce the cabinet in order for his Western handlers to know the composition of the government-in-waiting.
