Renowned journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has advised Nelson Chamisa to stand with his persecuted leaders.

Writing on Facebook, Chin’ono said a political movement that doesn’t robustly stand with its persecuted leaders will not be able to take power.

He said the party lacks a coherent approach towards pushing back against oppressive rule.

This comes after Job Sikhala appeared for initial remand on his second charge of obstructing the course of justice.

Hopewell added: “until they stop seeing parliament and council as jobs, it will remain a dream deferred, to be pursued but never to be attained until there is unity of purpose!”
