Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono paid tribute to his late parents Mupfuyiwa/ Chirandu and Chihera.
In a heartfelt message on social media, Chin’ono said his father would have been 102 years old today while his mother would have been 93 years old.
He said his parents taught him to fear nothing human because all shall perish in the end.
Hopewell added that he misses them dearly and loves them for the values of knowing right from wrong which they instilled in him.
“Without them I would have been just some ordinary Joe hustling to make a living with no significant contribution towards society. For everything good you think I have done, it is these two legends that made it happen!”
