The Zimbabwe Republic Police on Wednesday assaulted striking nurses and doctors at Bindura Provincial Hospital.
Police stopped health workers from petitioning their employer, the Health Services Board (HSB) as the countrywide strike continues.
The health workers have been on strike since Monday. They are striking against low wages and terrible working conditions.
There are also reports that the uniformed forces had taken over duties at some hospitals.
