The Botswana Defence Force says the BDF CN 235 Aircraft carrying Vice President Slumber Tsogwane and honourable Ministers experienced a right main landing gear tyre puncture during taxying for parking yesterday.
While taxying for parking at SSKI Airport, the pilots reported a right main landing gear tyre puncture and the emergency response at SSKI Airport responded to provide assistance.
All twelve (12) passengers and the four (4) aircrew members are safe and without injuries.
The BDF assured the nation that all required maintenance and safety procedures are taken prior to any flight to assure the safe passage of all VIPs and any other principals in their care.
